JUST FOR KIDS We provide an environment for children and teens to have fun, attain social skills, gain confidence and self-esteem, acquire co-ordination skills and teach fitness through dance. Just for Kids classes offers creative dance classes including a mixture of Ballroom, RocknRoll, Dance Fitness and Latin. The Studio has been operating for 16 years in which that time some of our children have become adults and are now teaching for the Studio. Our experienced teachers and assistants are professional and caring and encourage the children to enjoy dance as a form of self expression through the dance routines and performances. Coaching little dancers from 5 upwards, our classes provide an introduction to dance and movement, using a wide array of music to help children develop co-ordination, rhythm and confidence on the dance floor. Above all we like to keep the atmosphere relaxed and yet disciplined and make the experience of Dance an exciting and fun opportunity for children of all ages. This is a wonderful way for children to be introduced to the joy of dance. Classes are designed at a social level to teach rhythm, the importance of stretching, teamwork, technique and encourage freedom of expression. Classes are preceded by warm up exercises and stretches, followed by choreography to great dance beats for the children to learn. Ultimately our agenda is to teach a dance style within the course and also to prepare them for either medals social or performing in public whether that would be for parents and friends or at functions organised by the studio or charity events. A $25.00 enrolment fee per family will be charged once per year on your first account. Discounts are given for students and families who enrol 3 or more children.
